Remembering Bob Pease
A person you may never have known, but ultimately respect, admire, and cherish once you've seen what he's contributed to the modern world. Bob Pease died in a car crash (a VW bug littered with more junk than you could see on the 1st season of Hoarders), on his way to a funeral (to note the irony here distracts from the man himself). He was wacky, he hated computers, he used his cubicle as a storage room, and he was ridiculously intelligent, smart, and funny. We will miss you Bob. Rest in peace my friend. Everest in the 1980s. He also designed a seismic pre-amplifier chip used to measure lunar ground tremors in the US Apollo moon landing missions.
